Asheville Chapter

ISM is a progressive association with a mission to provide national and international leadership in purchasing and materials management, particularly in the areas of education, research and standards of excellence.

January’s meeting was held at the Black Forest Restaurant in Skyland.  We enjoyed good food, networking and an encouraging program.  A Special thanks to Kimmel & Associates for a great presentation on “Career Management & Essentials of Networking.” At a time when jobs are being cut back and companies are closing, we left the meeting equipped with valuable tools to stay competitive in the job market.

Further, we have seen an increase in attendance at each meeting.  The Board would like to thank all who have contributed to the success of “bringing back” the Asheville Chapter. Also, we recognize David Whitley, Eaton Corporation as a first time attendee.
