C.P.M. Certification Timeline
The deadline to register for the C.P.M. exams is drawing near. Please keep the following in mind:

• Last Day to Register for the C.P.M. exams is December 31, 2008.
• Last Day to Take the C.P.M. exams is December 31, 2009.
• Last day to apply for original C.P.M. Certification is December 31, 2013.

Current C.P.M.s who do not meet the minimum requirements for the CPSM will be encouraged to maintain their expertise through recertification. Professionals will have the same ability to recertify as they do now. The C.P.M.s main focus covers the operational aspects of purchasing, but also includes supply functions such as agreements, negotiations, technology and relationship management.
